The Rotary Club of Kawasoti, located in the heart of Nawalparasi (East of Bardaghat  Susta) District, Gandaki Province, Nepal which stands as a vibrant and fast-growing club under Rotary International District 3292. Chartered in 2018, the club has quickly established itself as a beacon of service, leadership, and innovation in the community.

The Rotary main motto “Service Above Self,” is rooted throughly & RC Kawasoti has continuously demonstrated its commitment to creating positive vibes and sustainable changes locally and globally. With a diverse membership composed of business leaders, educators, entrepreneurs, health professionals and social change makers, the RC Kawasoti reflects the strength of unity in diversity.

Our Impact and Vision :

RC Kawasoti is dedicated to the Seven Areas of Focus of Rotary International especially emphasizing education, water and sanitation, environmental conservation, and community development. The club has actively engaged in Tree Plantation Drives, School Sanitation Projects, Free Health Camps( Eye Camp, Uterine Prolapse etc), Scholarship Programs, and Disaster Relief efforts. In partnership with local stakeholders and international clubs, RC Kawasoti has also supported infrastructure development in rural schools and clean drinking water access in underprivileged areas.

In 2025, the Club RC Kawasoti collaborated with RC Patan South to install a Water Treatment System at Shree Janakalyan Secondary School, benefiting over 500 students and staff showcasing how Rotary bridges needs with action.

Promoting Peace and Partnership

RC Kawasoti believes that collaboration and peacebuilding begin at the grassroots. Our regular interactions with community leaders, educational institutions and youth networks help nurture a culture of mutual respect, awareness and proactive citizenship. Through Rotaract sponsorships, we are nurturing the next generation of responsible leaders, and will be established Interact club as well very soon in future. 

Club Culture

We are a club of camaraderie and commitment. With weekly meetings, board deliberations, and regular fellowships, our club provides a space for meaningful engagement, professional growth, and lifelong friendships. We celebrate milestones, birthdays and community events with energy and inclusion.

Global Engagement

Despite being a relatively young club, RC Kawasoti is globally minded. Members actively participate in Rotary District Conferences, International Assemblies and Cross-border Fellowship Events, establishing strong international linkages and the club is committed to contributing annually to The Rotary Foundation (TRF).

Looking Ahead

RC Kawasoti is future focused, working to expand its impact through projects related to digital literacy, green tourism and climate resilience. The club is also exploring strategic partnerships to enhance professional training and vocational education for youth and women in the region.
